Praia do Cabedelo will host the PWA Grand Slam, under the World Windsurfing Championship, the largest event of its kind in the world in 2018. The initiative, organized by the Municipality of Viana do Castelo, Feelviana Sport Hotel, counts on the full support of the Portuguese Windsurf Association (APWind) - and the PWA (Professional Windsurfers Association). The initiative, which takes place for the first time in Portugal, was presented yesterday at a press conference and will take place between 14 and 24 June next year at Praia do Cabedelo. The great PWA event, with ten days of testing, integrates three disciplines: slalom, freestyle and wave and is part of the World Windsurfing Circuit.
