At the mouth of the Minho River and its encounter with the waters of the Atlantic rises the Fort of Ínsua once occupied by Franciscan friars. This magnificent defensive fortification of other eras is an inescapable mark of the coastal landscape and the ideal shelter for the marine species much appreciated in these stops, as the Sea Bass.

The "Sea of ​​Ínsua", thus baptized by the existence of this fortification, is an inexhaustible source of food for the wild snakes that live there, whose delicate white flesh was already part of the gastronomy of the Roman people.

The bass is caught "by the line" by the fisherman's brave hands, to collect the best sea bass and to be able to take them to the table of our restaurants.

To the scalloped sea bass and its freshness, our cooks only add the necessary seasoning, because the grill does the rest. Accompanied by the fried potatoes and the delicious stir-fried vegetables, it is a delicacy unique and worthy of the most exquisite palates.

To crown this meal, we delight in our traditional Burnt Milk Custards, a true delicacy, so traditional of our lands.
