Vila do Conde
Description

Set of five steps of the Via Sacra, constructed in the eighteenth century, with identical structure and decoration in granite stone. All steps are facing the Streets, fitted by walls or buildings, except for step 3, directed to the Charity (Misericórdia) Church. Steps to Vila do Conde Gate of the Costeira Street with the António Fernandes da Costa Street (Coast Step). Hospital Step included in the protection zone of the Misericórdia Church of Vila do Conde, and the Feira Step, in the Special Protection Zone of Vila do Conde Church. Set of six steps of the Via Sacra, with identical structure and decoration in granite stone, facing the streets, embedded into walls with baroque features. Presenting a rectangular plan and simple volumes, with coverage in the hip roofing. It is estimated to have been built in the eighteenth century, by the authority of Master Domingos Moreira.
