One of the most notable civil buildings of the Sernancelhe County is the House of Paço or Loba, impressive model in granite, raised between the square and the pillory. Dating back to the thirteenth century and had as founder Ferdinand Sanches, illegitimate son of King Dinis. It was later reused for the Town Hall building. Its simplicity causes it passing unnoticed, but a closer look brings us to the two large windows with wide facade and to the images in granite symbolizing a she- wolf.
