Description

This church, which dates back to 1743 and is dedicated to São José, was built spacious, luminous and in granite. The ceiling shows a painting that represents of the Ascension of Christ. The main chapel has gilded woodcarving all around and a central altar. Each side of the crossing arch has a frontal altar also in gilded woodcarving. The side walls feature six further altars.
