Cultur’friends Portugal is the only rent-a-car company in Portugal specialized in fully adapted vehicles for people with reduced mobility.
We can deliver our vehicles in each one of the three main airports: Porto, Lisboa and Faro (Algarve) or provide an accessible transfer from the airport to your destination. We can deliver our cars or pick you up in any other place too.
Before your arrival we can get information about accessible accommodation, attractions, places to eat or to visit, as well as some services like equipment hire, wheelchair repair services, clinics and hospitals and other assistance services.
Our vehicles, VW Caddi Mini and Maxi are fully adapted with manual ramp and hydraulic suspension to transport someone in a scooter or wheelchair, ensuring safety and comfort parameters. Half of our fleet is equipped with “active driver” too, with manual acceleration and brake controls.
All vehicles have Confortline equipment, air conditioning, GPS (8 languages: German, English, Spanish, French, Portuguese, Italian, Czech, Dutch), automatic transmission, parking sensors, Wi-Fi and a 220v AC power supply to charge scooter and wheelchair batteries.
