The Megalithic Necropolis of Britelo is one of the most important megalithic sets of Peneda Gerês National Park. In this trail, which starts in the small parish of Britelo, you can discover these megalithic monuments of the recent pre-history. There are nine marked points, outstanding the Anta da Lapa da Moura dolmen in the place of Chã de Cabanos. With great proportions, it consists in a chamber in polygonal shape, covered by a large stone, symbol of human presence. In the place of Chã da Rapada, in a granite outcrop, is possible to observe an impressive set of pictures engraved on rocks. These pictures show different geometric symbols and dimples. On the path enjoy other sets as well as the landscape and feel yourself close to the sky.
