The Nazarães Valley is a place of great beauty where you can walk between the villages of Queimada and Fontelo with Mount São Domingos as a backdrop. In a transition area between the Douro wine regions with Távora Varosa ( Beira Alta region), have been found archaeological remains which proves the occupation of these lands since ancient times.
