The imposing chapel of N. S. da Conceição shows the result of several interventions all over the centuries. The chapel was remodelated in the XVIII century, giving it the present appearance. The great devotion to Nossa Senhora da Aparecida dates from the XIX century, and it is now one of the most authentic and crowded pilgrimages in the province of Minho. This tradition is connected with the influence of a family of “Brazilians” who fomented this devotion.
