In the parish line between Gemeses and Perelhal (Barcelos), at the base of Arnelas Mount, there is a place with a fabulous panoramic view over the parish, the middle course of the Cávado river in Esposende and its northern coast.

In this hill, see the remains of a mound and various props, the ruins of an old windmill, circular structure, and granite rubble, according to the popular oral tradition, belong to the " Chapel Velha do Monte" never completed, as well as a monolith that marks the division between the two parishes.
