Praça da República "Bica-Quente" (Hot Water Spring)

Description
The place where the first traces of the Roman occupation, when discovered in 1787, the ancient Roman baths. Until 1996, it was at this location that the market took place. Today, it's a leisure space. To mark the historical importance, an inscription and a monument in honour of God Bormânico, recognized as salutary God of the hot spring waters, was placed on the soil of this square, next to the mythical "hot water spring”.
