The south coast of Vila do Conde brings together, absolutely smoothly, the rural component with the component beach and leisure. The parishes of Vila do Conde coastline, traditionally rural, whereas the agricultural holdings and activities associated with them are part of the dairy region of Douro-Minho, and the cultivation of fields forming agricultural mosaics radiating green, complement the beauty of the predominant colours of the sand, sun and sea.
The parishes of Azurara, Árvore, Mindelo, Vila Chã and Labruge and the respective bathing areas, offer, a total of eleven bathing concessions distributed between Rio Ave, to the North and the Rio Onda to the south.
All bathing concessions make available to the bathers the beach facilities with bar and terrace, public toilets and surveillance for bathers, with the presence of the lifeguard and respective post guard.
