Prision Building

Description


It is a XVIII century two floors building, serving as Town Hall on the first floor, and as prision on the ground floor. The portal of the top floor is in rectangular shape, being surmounted by the House of Bragança coat of arms. The initiative of this construction, belonged to the House of Bragança.

It houses the Interpretation Centre of Local Culture on the top floor, and the Interactive Tourism Office and an exhibition of local products on the ground floor.
