The Quadrado Azul Gallery represents Portuguese and foreign artists, renowed names of the current art scene and also young artists. It was born in 1986 in Porto, and was one of the first commercial exhibition spaces of the city.
Representing especially new artists who left the Faculty of Fine Arts of Porto, the gallery organized a large number of determinant exhibitions in the national context, during the first decade of activity. In 2006, the Quadrado Azul Gallery opens more one space in Lisbon, extending the work of exhibition opportunities for artists and as a way to reach of a wider range of audiences.
