Quinta de Vargelas Belvedere is situated in the Vargelas estate, in the picnic park near municipal road EM541, between Vale de Figueira and Ôlas. It is 450 m high and offers a magnificent view over São Salvador do Mundo, Vale de Figueira, São Xisto, Ferradosa and the Douro River. From its privileged place, this belvedere offers an extensive view over the Douro River and its Man-made slopes. There are several wine producing farms near the river banks. The strongest image we have is the vineyards flanking the banks of the Douro River, an image that oversteps the bounds of admiration. You have to see it to believe it!
The outdoor facility may be visited at any time of day, so no booking is required.
