The Children's Ranch Good Source was established in the academic year 1994/95, due to the project area - School "Folklore", developed at the School of Basic Education Fonte Boa, under the responsibility and supervision of Professor José Miguel Azevedo Belinho.
This Rancho performed for the first time in July 2, 1995, drawing, first, the question of the settlement. The event was held - with the support of teachers and PTA Guardian School of Basic Education Fonte Boa. Was even this the Association which became responsible for creating the costume Child, by virtue of having held responsible for fundraising and confection. Since then the group has performed at various events and festivals in villages Fonte Boa, Boaters, Apulia and Fao and participation in birthday party of authorities and institutions such as the House of St. John of God - Barcelos, Firefighters Esposende, the Cultural Association Eagles Serpa Pinto - Fao. From the year 2002, the Children's Ranch passed for the protection of the Center for Family Support, passing, since renamed the Folklore of Fonte Boa. Currently manager of the Ranch is the responsibility of the Parish Social Centre Fonte Boa.
Costumes:
Costume Groom (black), Domingueiro Costume, Black Tie Dress Code Field, the Widow Costume, Evening of Sargaceiros, Pastor Peasant Costume.
Customs and Practices:
Growing corn, rye and flax, cut "Taborra" and pick the Sargasso, linen work.
