The School of Bobbin Lace of Vila do Conde existes for almost 100 years, preceding the industrial schools and being one of the only survivors of the schools-workshop during the First Portuguese Republic, aiming to provide our industry with labor-skilled workers simultaneously with the learning of the first letters. Currently it works on the first floor of the Museum of Bobbin Lace.
