The “Casa da Avô" is a restaurant which excels in a rustic and family environment. The name is due to the fact that this house has belonged to the grandparents of the chef and present owner of the house. The "Casa da Avô" wants to introduce the traditional gastronomy in particular “posta de vitela” (slice of veal), chicken blood rice, “Sovalcado or the Tiborna” Codfish, “Lagareiro”Octopus, among others.
