Casas de Cabreiros provide rural accommodation in two beautiful houses (“casa de cima” and “casa de baixo”). These houses are located right in the heart of Lugar de Cabreiros (Roussas), in the charming village of Melgaço.

Located in a very peaceful atmosphere, they offer a stay in total harmony with nature from a short distance of 1.5 km from Melgaço and around 10km away from the the 1stgate of Parque da Peneda/Gerês ( well known by Porta de Lamas de Mouro) following the Fiães route. It is also possible to visit the Benedictine Monastery on the way and contemplate the astonishing surroundings.
Casas de Cabreiros are fully integrated into the rural life of the Alto Minho, particularly in an organic production of alvarinho wine. Therefore, visitors can stroll through the vineyards, take part in farm work (for example grape harvest), taste the precious nectar (biological alvarinho wine, marketed under the brand "Encostas da Cabana") or simply walk carelessly through this wonderful scenery knowing you're in a place where Nature is respected.
