Nestled in a valley between the river and the mountain, this estate offers the perfect environment for complete relaxation. The estate is in the heart of the Douro Valley, classified by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site. It borders the River Douro, and is situated 5 km from the village of Tabuaço and the vinicultural village of Barcos. This is a typical Douro estate, surrounded by vineyards and olive groves planted on schist soils. The house is more than two hundred years old and has a chapel dedicated to Nossa Senhora das Graças (Our Lady of Graces). The beautiful surrounding gardens are an open invitation to enjoy the incredible views. The Quinta offers both twin and double accommodation and provides the ideal location to get in touch with nature.

Five generations Quinta do Monte Naughty belongs to the family of Naples Carvalho, since the founder of the Casa do Douro, great-grandfather of the current owners, offered this beautiful fifth to his daughter as a wedding gift. Since then, was initiated the planting of some of the existing vineyards and the wine factory in the same warehouse where today it vinificam wines of Mount Naughty. Lately carried to the vine varieties of grapes unique per plot and introduced to new technologies, including the possibility of controlling the fermentation temperature in centenarians mills.
