On the last saturday of september, in the Parrish Council of Perre, unveils an ethnographic performance that pretends to show to the public the various steps of corn crop process: Like its transportation, oxcart fliping, harvest festival, the sieve cleaning. These activities are fueled by the accordeons and "battle singing" (folkloric singing improvisation), taking adavantage the "king corn" discovery to steal a kiss from the girls working there... This party also suffers no shortage of gastronomical snacks, like "Codfish pancakes", "Codfish Cakes", chestnuts and new wine, that warms the soul of everybody assisting, ending participating themselves to the corn cycle related activities.
