Another paragliding event entitled "Open Ibérico Cross" takes place in Serra do Larouco, in the municipality of Montalegre.
This event takes place from the 3rd to the 9th of July 2022. It is the second stage, the first being the Parapente Larouco Championship which takes place between the 6th and 9th of July.
The maximum number of participants in this competition is around 140 drivers (plus 5 wild cards). The competition, organized by the company Land For, is supported by the Municipality of Montalegre.
