The SWR BARROSELASMETALFEST is one of the most ancient extreme music festivals of all the Iberian Peninsula,actually alive since 1998. Located since its first edition, in 1998 in the peculiar town of “Barroselas”, northwestern Portugal, the festival is composed of two interior stages to which you access through showing the festival bracelet, and one outdoor stage of free access. Colossal figures from the metal music world already went throw the festival such as Venom, Immortal, Kreator, Possessed, Sodom,Napalm Death, bolt Thrower, Dying Fetus, Primordial, Metal church, Watain, Hypocrisy, Candlemass, Ratos de Porão, Immolation, Triptykon, The haunted, Brujeria, Enslaved, Carpathian forest, shining, Entombed A.D., Impaled Nazarene, Gut, Agalloch, Katatonia and many others. This Music Festival is dedicated and organized by the NAAM – The Musical Arts Supporting Nucleus.
