The Casa do Mosqueiros, located in the parish of Britelo, is an ancient manor house which has undergone several works of intervention throughout times.
According to information gathered by several historians, the Mosqueiros House is considered the structure of the Mota family of the region of Basto. The origin of it's name is related to Mr. Jerónimo de Mota, married to Mrs. Isabel Wolf, who was granted the coat of arms in 1552.
