Fraga d

São João da Pesqueira
Description

The Fraga d'Aia archaeological site (rock art paintings) and the Areita dolmen (nearby), as well as other findings around the old village are proof of the occupation. This dolmen is one of the largest of its kind in Beira Alta, and consists of a polygonal chamber with seven pillars and an average size corridor.

The outdoor monument is open to the public.
