The Nossa Senhora do Caminho’s chapel appears documented since 1762, and was situated out of the village which allowed to the people a larger space to do the party. This party is an old tradition. The cultural dynamism of the second half of XIX century promoted the institution of Nossa Senhora do Caminho’s brotherhood.
