Botanical Park and Zoo of Quinta do Rebentão
Consists of Campsite, Municipal Swimming Pools, Maintenance Circuit, Botanic Garden and Zoo.
The pedestrian route along the Botanic Garden and the Zoo, allows the observation of several species of flora and fauna (dwarf goats, ponies, deers, fallow deers, among others) available, supported by identifying name and short description plates. A visit to the recovered burnt areas, as well as the visit to a recovered burnt area, characterized by stronger fire-resistant species (Chestnut, Cherry, Holm oak, Oak).
In the workshops of the School Teaching Recreational Farm practical activities are developed in the field of biology, geology, botanical and environmental education, supported with special material where children develop their knowledge abilities.
