This is the biggest circuit described inn this Guide. It is also one of the most interesting, as it is done on the plateau of the Chavães Mountain, strategically nestled between the Beira Alta region, in the south, and the trás-os-Montes region, in the north. The geoclimatic characteristics of the mountain have determined the landscape architecture and the use of the land, very different from other places in the commune. The cereal clture and the flock tending are predominant activities. From a natural point of view, the mountain stands out due to the richness and uniqueness of its fauna and flora Discover then using this pedestrian circuit, which is also suitable for cycling lovers.
