The elementary school is assigned with her name Idalina Matos, having a bust placed at the top of the school's central body. The school housed two classrooms, two rooms for teachers, a gym and a playground, gardens and avenue, and water from a mine. The school was adapted to the Centro Cultural de Alfena by the Municipality of Valongo, being inaugurated on the 30th/June 1999 with reading spaces, exhibitions and leisure.
