Description


The Serra da Freita has a maximum altitude of 1,085 meters. It is situated in the northwest-southeast direction and extends to Vale de Cambra, Arouca and S. Pedro do Sul municipalities. It is part of the  Gralheira Massif, along with the Serra da Arada and the Serra do Arestal. The river Caima has its source here, and its soil is mainly of granitic type. This place is a photographic paradise for those who enjoy the sunrise and the delicious evenings.
