The Municipal Carmen Miranda Museum is dedicated to the famous samba singer and actress, who was born in Marco de Canaveses and became famous in Brazil and Holywood.
In the museum we can see part of the estate of Carmen Miranda's career and an exhibition of painting, drawing and sculpture in wood by Álvaro Costa.
The museum has also a permanent exhibition of ceramics, painting, sculpture and sacred art.
