The house lies just 1.4 miles away from the village centre where you can taste the local cuisine and the renowned Alvarinho wine. For dessert, indulge in the delicious natas (the most famous Portuguese pastry) accompanied with a strong national coffee at the bakery/coffee shop.

Castro Laboreiro is a superb spot for outdoor enthusiasts.  You can pursue nature trails, hiking, cycling or discover archeological remains.  Horse riding is also very popular.

Should you prefer rafting, canoeing, canyoning, hydrospeed, paintball, bungee jumping or other radical sports, they’re all available locally.

Just 30 minutes drive away, the Termas of Melgaço await you for a delightful beneficial bath in mineral-rich spring water.
