Porto Pianofest is proud to present the award winning pianist Alexander Kobrin for the first time in Portugal. This will be the opening event to its 6th edition-- a week of concerts, masterclasses and artist residencies.
Alexander Kobrin is the 2005 Gold Medal winner of The Cliburn Competition, as well as the winner of the Busoni, Hamamatsu and Scottish International Competition.
He will be performing works by Beethoven and Chopin, some of his personal references, as well as the monumental Pictures at an Exhibition by Mussorgsky.
