With the aim of making known to the Amarantinos the thermal offer, the therapeutic vocations of its natural mineral water, and the importance of this unique and inimitable resource, the Municipality of Amarante anticipates the opening of the thermal baths, promoting, between November 24 and 23 December, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., open days with free visits to the spa and offer a "thermal pool experience" * to the participants in the visits.

Please note that the Thermal Spa has a Turkish bath room; two massage rooms and an indoor swimming pool, supplied with thermal water - a characteristic that, besides allowing treatments with thermal water, allows, at the same time, for example, an aqua gymnastics class. There is also a treatment room for the airways, two rooms with whirlpools, a Vichy and Scottish shower, and an office with treatments for the spine.
The thermalism allows, in fact, a new look about Amarante and the region, thought of the amarantinos but also the tourists. In the future, it is expected that Amarante can become a reference, as far as thermalism is concerned.
