SURF MARKET - SURF WITH CONTENT!
The SURF MARKET - SSBB Edition - Surf Summer Beer and Beach celebrates surfing and its culture as well as the lifestyle of the brewing culture.
The Municipality of Matosinhos and the Oporto Surf Guide have joined forces with several agents of the national surf industry, some of the best beers in the country, art, gastronomy, a surf market, swimwear and live music in one set!
For surfers and non-surfers, there are also many attractions.
You can have an outdoor yoga class or participatein a functional training class with celebrity personal trainer Nilton Bala, the author of the Star Body in 12 weeks program (which is the combination of training, nutrition and motivation, that has changed the life and improved the bodies of several personalities), appreciate art in an open-air gallery, go shopping, drink an ice-cold craft beer, do the samba and at the end of the day celebrate summer with three super sunset parties by Porto Cruz.
The organization has not forgotten the young peopleproviding a Kids Space with two workshops of surf art, a teamwork with the Galeria Surf Leça.
There are also parallel activities for lovers of a good cuisine with three showcookings, tastings and a healthy eating workshops, inspired by the surf and the canned fish, which will take place in the Market of Matosinhos.There, aphoto exhibition entitled "Surf and the City" upholding the surf tourism with photographs taken, among other emblematic spaces of Porto and Matosinhos, in the Porto Cruise Terminal. The link between the three spaces will be made by the company of Matosinhos Simple B, which in partnership with the organization created a SURF MARKET Tour.
“Our desire is to bring another kind of connection with surfing, rescuing its roots,showing the different lifestyles and the art that surrounds that universe.
A connection in which brands seek to bring to their customers. Surf Market is more than just a market, Surf Market conveys players with the objective not only to attract both surfers and fans, but also its parallel activities allow a larger presence to the event,risingup to the participants the interest for the surfing as a sport, either through the instruction by local schools or even through the practice of free surf, therefore promoting the local economy. Thus, the event's schedule was intended to bring together in one place everything that combines all about surfing, because surf is much more than surfing waves! ", says the organization.
There will be over 30 hours of activities with many surf fans and supporters surfing the SURF MARKET wave at the Gardens of Senhor do Padrão in Matosinhos.

16:30 - 17:30 - Presentation of the book «SURFING THE NEXT STEP», edition of Casas das Letras, designed and developed by António Pedro de Sá Leal and André Carvalho, with autograph session.
17:30 - 18:30 - Master Class (functional training class) with Personal Trainner of Celebrities Nilton Bala, Puma´s ambassador and one of the countries most requested Coach Trainers.

The event values what is the most beautiful and contemporary in the surf culture, serving as a showcase for artistic production, as well as bringing products and services to consumers as well as networking for companies in the sector.
An innovative and international level event, which serves to launch and disseminate new or current brands or products and services to the target audience, promote surf culture and the North region as a surfing tourist destination, at all times surf related and connected to the region, in a relaxed mood as the subject demands.
