In the last Sunday of January it is realized in Zava the festivity in honor of Saint Amaro, most known by smoked sausage festivity.
In the day, by the 8 hours in the morning, the stewards make an offertory in the village. At this offertory, the inhabitants offer smoked sausages.
These species are put in a stick and in the end of the mass and the procession it is done a sale whose profits are to the festivity organization.
It is also tradition to make cakes, called “rosquilhas”, and they are also sold.
